The OSP has confirmed the freezing of assets amounting into several millions of Ghana Cedis for former NPP Appointee,
Dr. Mustapha Abdul Hamid.
In official statement from the OPS, the frozen amounts involved GH₵100 million and US$100,000) including real estate holdings, fuel stations, and logistics vehicles.
These, according to the report is in connection with the ongoing prosecution of former NPA CEO Dr. Mustapha Abdul Hamid and 9 others.
Additional assets remain under active tracing as part of continuing investigations into the alleged grand extortion and money laundering scheme.
The report maintained that these actions are consistent with the OSP’s mandate under Act 959 to preserve suspected proceeds of crime pending final determination of the case by the court.
