And, Speaker of House has urged the Majority Caucus to exercise tolerance and maturity in their parliamentary conduct, despite holding a two-thirds majority in the House. He emphasized that the voice of the Minority must always be respected and heard in the interest of national unity and democratic growth.

The Speaker made the call during the swearing-in ceremony of Ewurabena Aubynn, the newly elected Member of Parliament for Ablekuma North. Her inclusion brings the Majority side made up of 184 National Democratic Congress (NDC) MPs and 4 Independent Members to a total of 188 seats.

Rt. Speaker reminded the House that the strength of Parliament lies in its diversity and called on all Members to promote decorum in their engagements. He encouraged MPs to avoid political hostility and work together to build a more respectful and collaborative legislative environment.
