Graduate Democratic Caucus (GRADEC) affiliated to the governing National Democratic Congress led by Zaid Haruna, Head of Programms, sympathized with the family of the late former First Lady, Her Excellency Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings on 5th November 2025.

The delegation on behalf of its president at the family house in Accra signed the book of condolence and conveyed a message of sympathy to the bereaved family.
They used the moment to praise the former First Lady’s remarkable life and legacy, citing her dedication to social justice and her unwavering commitment to the Ghanaian people.
The family received the delegation warmly, expressing gratitude for their show of solidarity.
The visit was part of GRADEC’s efforts to pay tribute to the former First Lady, who played a significant role in Ghana’s history and politics.

The delegation was impressed by the family’s composure and dignity in the face of their loss.
Delegation consist of, Zaid Haruna , Muniru Gazari, Solace Salamatu Mohammed and Dr. Prince James Adeti
The rest are: Flawotoafor Angelo, Vortmdoagu Emmanuel Elolo, Wilfred Essah and Kwabena Marfo Kwaning.
“We were also invited to the upcoming state funeral, details of which will be communicated in due course”, the report said.
