A Royal Delegation from the Mepe Traditional Council, led by Kojo Elenu Fabian, Togbui Korsi Nego VI, Maklalo of the Mepe Traditional Area, and Togbui Korsi Agba III, Divisional Chief of the Mepe Adzigo Clan, visited the office of Volta Regional Representative on the Council of State, Dr. Gabriel Kwamigah Atokple, also known as Chief Tanko
The visit was to express their appreciation for his presence at this year’s Afenorto Festival-their visit was truly humbling.
They expressed their gratitude for his decision to accept their invitation despite the difficult circumstances at the time, “I, in turn, thanked the chiefs and their entourage for the warmth of their visit and their kind words.”
Chief on in a statement was particularly moved when the chiefs described him as an “Outstanding Member of the Council of State whose commitment to the Volta Region has not been witnessed before.”
While he was deeply grateful for such words, he sees them as a reminder to continue working even harder for the good of the people in the Region.
“Let us continue to build together for the Volta Region, and for Ghana “, Dr. Atokple admonished.
