Savior Gad won the WABA Supreme Global Super Middleweight Champions belt by stopping Eliasu Sulley in the 7th round on April 4, 2026, at the Aborigines Beach Hotel in Keta, Volta Region. Gad’s power and persistence proved too much for Sulley, overwhelming him in front of a packed crowd.
The event was part of the inaugural “Prof. Azumah Nelson Champion Emeritus” world title event, honoring Ghana’s legendary boxer, Azumah Nelson. Other notable winners included Michael “One Bullet” Ansah, who claimed the Professor Azumah Nelson Super Featherweight Emeritus title, and Abubakar Mubarak, who won the WABA Supreme World Super Middleweight crown.
