After the grand funeral rites for the later Prebyter Henrietta Atsufui Avuglah mother of Kwame Dzudzorli Gakpey, MP for Keta, last Saturday, the family went ahead to organize a mighty thanksgiving service in her memory at EP Church, Ghana, Anlo-Afiadenyigba.
Once more, like the funeral grounds the large Church Auditorium was not only filled to capacity but also overflowed with congregants sitting outside.
Clad in all all-white-attired congregation gathered for a solemn service, likely a memorial or thanksgiving ceremony.

The event featured Presbyter Henrietta Atsufui Avuglah, a respected church leader in the community, guiding the proceedings.
The Church, in Anlo-Afiadenyigba is known for its vibrant faith community and cultural traditions blended with Presbyterian practices held on March 1, 2026, was part of the funeral rites, which began on February 27, 2026, with a pre-burial service, followed by burial on February 28, 2026.

The thanksgiving service marked the culmination of the funeral celebrations.
Many dignitaries, including MPs and parliamentary staff, attended the service to pay their respects to the bereaved family.
Henrietta Atsufui Avuglah, a retired teacher and presbyter of the EP Church, passed away in 2025.
