The Member of Parliament for Madina, Dr. Francis-Xavier Sosu Esq., together with the Australian High Commissioner to Ghana, H.E. Berenice Owen-Jones, has commissioned an ultra-modern surgical theatre at Madina Polyclinic – Kekele to enhance healthcare delivery in the municipality.

For the first time in its 52-year history, the facility now has a surgical theatre, significantly improving its ability to handle surgical and emergency cases.
Dr. Sosu Esq. earlier supported the project with a donation of GH₵150,000.00 and medical equipment, while Freedom-Aid Ghana helped secure additional funding from the Australian Government for the successful completion of the project.

The hospital’s Director, Dr. Emmanuel Asante, expressed gratitude to the MP and the Australian High Commissioner for their timely support.

The ceremony was attended by the MCE for La-Nkwantanang-Madina Municipality, Alhaji Faila Ibrahim, the Municipal Health Director, Dr. Efua Commeh, the Health Project Team, some Assemblymen, traditional leaders, and other dignitaries.
