The Ketu South Municipal Second Common Mock Examinations, sponsored by Felix Akonta, Torgbui Tenuvi III, Youth Chief of Aflao Traditional Council, kicked off on 24th March 2026 at all BECE centers in the municipality.

The “Akonta’s Special Second Common Mock Examinations for BECE Candidates” aims to ease the burden on parents by providing free mock exams to prepare students for the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) BECE. Mr. Akonta believes education is key to unlocking potential and has made it his priority to boost educational standards in Ketu South.

The initiative gives students firsthand experience of the exam environment, helping them face the “Battle of BECE” with confidence. The Ghana Education Service supports the effort, focusing on equity and access to quality education.

The mock exams are expected to improve performance in the upcoming BECE, enhancing the municipality’s reputation for educational excellence.
