The Member of Parliament for South Dayi and Majority Chief Whip in Parliament, Rockson-Nelson Kwami Etse Dafeamekpor Esq has donated foodstuffs to the Muslim community in the South Dayi Constituency on Friday, 20th March, 2026.

The donation of these items was to aid the Muslim colleagues’ Sallah celebration after a month of fasting.
The lawmaker, who could not attend due to other important schedules in Accra, was represented by a team made up of Constituency and branch executives led by the hardworking District Chief Executive for South Dayi Constituency, Courage Kwame Kokroko.

As there are three Muslim communities in the South Dayi Constituency, the team started the donation from Tongor-Dzemeni to Peki-Dzogbati and ended at Kpeve, the District capital of the South Dayi Constituency.
The Constituency Communications Officer Jonas Anyadi a.k.a Abor in a statement said, the Muslim community leaders, led by the Zongo Caucus Coordinator, Alhaji Nuhu Seini, the Deputy Constituency Organiser and the District Director of NADMO, Alhaji Suley Shaibu, and the Constituency executive member, Alhaji Alpha Oumarou, received items, they were overwhelmed by the kind gesture of the MP, the DCE, the Constituency Organiser, Michael Vudo Akaho, and all.
They pledged to offer their support to the NDC party always.

The Communications Officer said, “We were privileged to have the Volta Regional Women’s Organiser of the great NDC, Delphia Fafa Agbai, who was on a scheduled and planned monitoring exercise to the South Dayi Constituency on the ongoing membership registration exercise”.
According to the Statement Madam Fafa joined the team as early as 8:00 am to visit some of the registration centers in the Constituency.
“Wherever they went, the Regional Women’s Organiser was satisfied with the commitment of the registration officers and challenged them to hit targets for rewards at the end of the exercise, which is 30th March, 2026”, the Statement added.
The donations to the people were successful.
The NDC government, led by His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, has been praised by the Muslim colleagues for fulfilling promises.
The Muslims were grateful for the collaboration between the District Chief Executive, Courage Kwame Kokroko, and the Member of Parliament and Majority Chief Whip, Rockson-Nelson Kwami Etse Dafeamekpor Esq., in developing the Constituency.
They pray for good health, wisdom, and God’s blessings as they lead the Constituency.
