National Democratic Congress (NDC) elected and appointed personnel did not learn from the apathy of 2016 and they want to experience despondency before they would reward their followers for their hard work. Despondency is the worse form of apathy however the NDC prefers to push its members into despondency yet expecting to win political power in Ogyakrom (Ghana).

One main cause of JDM-NDC 2016 defeat was because party members got the message correctly that between 2012 – 2016 they were used as tools to win the 2012 elections only for the elected and appointed to also appoint NPP members and worse of all give adverts to NPP media houses while neglecting the NDC media houses. Hence some large numbers of NDC members opted to avoid the polls in 2016 leading to the defeat of JDM-NDC.

Fast forward 2024, opposition leader JDM led the campaign to seek for degree holders to volunteer as polling agents to avoid arithmetic errors by the non-arithematic electoral commissioner, with the hope that when victory comes the degree holding polling agents would be rewarded with the spoils of polling wars, but the reverse is the situation we have as of now 2026 after the victory.

NDC members who started complaining about this repeated behaviour of JDM-NDC were told to just be patient as they time of appointment would be knocking on their doors ‘soon’ while others were grabbing multiples of board member roles and other positional goods.

The so-called ‘soon’ is rather entrenching the unacceptable behaviour in the Ghanaian body polity with more appointments of NPP members and in its advancement form of an appointment of an NPP manifesto member by the elected NDC member of parliament and minister of state to the chagrin of the equally qualified NDC polling agents who worked very hard to have the comeback kid JDM to the big wooden seat and super majority members of parliament.

‘Soon’ the NDC would be appointing Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as the second vice presisent of Ghana with the reason d’ètat of having to appoint a highly qualified Ghanaian, and the NDC degree polling agents would be called to cheer and welcome the NPP flagbearer who has been appointed by the NDC’s only living president JDM as his second vice president.

Nothing hurts than ‘robbing salt into injury’ as the saying goes and so be with JDM-NDC.

2028 and 2032 polls are not far away and all the appointed NPP members by the JDM-NDC administration would revert to compete with NDC.

Heavens be with NDC when their so-called Mr and Ms Soon-To-Be-Appointed degree holding polling agents would always be waiting as sentries to work extremely hard for the NDC again to be treated as horses sent to war with victory but pushed to the ground to chew poisoned grass while the spoils of polling wars are shared with the vanquish.

Stoic sage Seneca has this saying that _’procrastination is fatal and a waste of life’_ but as to who would experience the fatality and whose life would be wasted I do not know, and I have to look for an undertaker to identify Seneca’s grave for necromancy.

NDC, please continue appointing your acrimonious opponent being the NPP top members while in power and expect your party followers to be warm bodies without brains to keep worshipping you.

Prez. JDM take this as hypocritical euphemism.

Please keep refusing to carry out an audit of appointments done by your appointees and expect your party degree holding polling agents to keep seeing and treating you as the junior Jesus’s truimphant entry into Klikor.
