Motorists plying the Kasoa-Winneba road will soon experience significant relief.
Paved sections of the stretch are scheduled to open to traffic within the next month, with the entire project on track for completion by the end of this year.

Yesterday, President Mahama inspected the project and expressed satisfaction with the progress of the work.

“I understand the frustrations faced by commuters, but help is on the way. The contractor is doing good work, and we expect the project to be completed by December or, at the latest, the first quarter of next year.”

Hon. Agbodza noted that the project’s steady progress stems from President Mahama’s direct policy that “no inherited project should be abandoned.”

He further indicated that the government has paid over GH₵12 billion to road contractors since 2025.
