The Minister for Energy and Green Transition, John Jinapor, has asked the CEO of GRIDCo to step aside pending investigations into the fire incident at the Akosombo Power Control Center.
Meanwhile, a major shake-up has also been announced in the leadership of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) in the Ashanti Region.

Jinapor is expected to hold a major briefing at 2:00pm tomorrow to address recent developments in electricity distribution.
