In total, the MP financed the installation of 30 solar-powered street lights, a move that has been warmly received by residents who previously relied on limited or no reliable electricity supply. While earlier phases of development connected many settlements to the national grid, the island communities posed a unique challenge that required innovative solutions. Hon. Deh’s intervention has effectively addressed this gap, ensuring these communities are not left in darkness.

The commissioning ceremony was marked by jubilant celebrations, with community members expressing heartfelt gratitude to their MP for his unwavering dedication to inclusive development. “Let there be light, and there was light,” echoed the residents, celebrating the tangible progress brought to their doorsteps.

Hon. Sebastian Deh also took the opportunity to thank the communities for their overwhelming support during the 2024 General Elections, where they voted massively for him and President Mahama. He reaffirmed his commitment to continue delivering development projects aligned with the current government’s “Resetting Agenda,” aimed at improving living standards across the constituency.

This initiative underscores the MP’s firm belief in equitable development, ensuring even the most remote communities enjoy the benefits of modern infrastructure. As the lights shine brightly across these islands, residents are optimistic about the future and the continued progress driven by their dedicated representative.
