GoldBod has announced the signing of an GH¢8.4 million agreement with Ghana Water Limited (GWL) to rehabilitate the Bonsa, Daboase, and Sekyere Heman Water Supply Systems in the Western and Central Regions of Ghana.

During the signing ceremony, GoldBod CEO Sammy Gyamfi, Esq. emphasized that the company’s Board conducted an independent technical assessment before approving the project. He reaffirmed GoldBod’s commitment to responsible mining, environmental sustainability, and improving the lives of Ghanaians through such initiatives.

GWL Managing Director Adam Mutawakilu expressed gratitude to GoldBod for the timely intervention, stating that the project will help restore water production and enhance service delivery to communities that have faced operational challenges over the years.

Both parties highlighted their shared dedication to investing in sustainable solutions that protect the environment and strengthen critical public infrastructure, marking a significant step toward improving water access in the affected regions.
