Speaking at the ceremony, officials of Ghana EXIM Bank said the investment reaffirms the Bank’s commitment to creating opportunities for young people, strengthening communities, and supporting initiatives that inspire excellence both on and off the field.

The commissioning of the Astro Turf comes just months ahead of the 2026 Hogbetsotso Za festival slated for first Saturday in November and is expected to provide a modern sporting facility for youth in Anloga and surrounding communities during the celebrations and beyond.

Community members and traditional authorities expressed gratitude to Ghana EXIM Bank for the gesture, describing it as a timely intervention that will boost sports, recreation, and talent development in the Anlo State.
