The Member of Parliament for the Agotime-Ziope Constituency, Charles Agbeve, has fulfilled his pledge to support the two Senior High Schools in the constituency with corn mills to help reduce the cost of food preparation for students.

On Monday, 17th August 2026, the MP presented a brand-new corn mill to Ziope Senior High School, marking another practical intervention aimed at improving the welfare and learning environment of students.
The gesture is particularly significant because it builds on the MP’s earlier support when in 2018, he made a similar donation of a corn mill to Agotime Senior High School, demonstrating that his commitment to supporting the two second-cycle institutions in the constituency is not a new development.

Statement issued by Communications Bureau,
Agotime Ziope Constituency said, “the latest intervention is expected to ease the burden on school management in processing maize and other food items, while reducing the recurrent cost of preparing meals for students”.
It is a practical response to a real need and reflects the MP’s approach of supporting educational institutions with interventions that directly improve the welfare of students.

For Hon. Agbeve, supporting education goes beyond infrastructure and academic resources.
It also means paying attention to the everyday needs of students and the challenges confronting school management.
The school community expressed its appreciation to the MP for the gesture and for his continued commitment to the development of education and the wellbeing of students across the Agotime-Ziope Constituency.
According to the release, from the 2018 intervention at Agotime SHS to today’s donation to Ziope SHS, Mr. Agbeve continues to demonstrate that leadership is about making commitments and delivering on them.
