MP for
The Member of Parliament for La Dade-Kotopon, Rita Naa Odoley Sowah, has donated items to traditional leaders, Wulomei, and priestesses ahead of the Nanekpa rites.
The donation is to support the performance of mini rites scheduled for today.[Wednesday]
This year, the La Traditional Area is not celebrating the Homowo festival following the demise of the Paramount Chief and the Wulomo.
According to the MP, the gesture is to ensure that the traditional calendar is observed and to prevent any gap in the performance of customary rites despite the suspension of the main Homowo celebration.
