The Member of Parliament for North Tongu, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has hosted and rewarded the six best-performing WASSCE candidates from the constituency.
The six top performers are receiving brand new MacBooks and full scholarships from the office of the MP.
In a statement, the MP said: “I proudly hosted the best six WASSCE candidates from my beloved North Tongu. These six top performers are receiving MacBooks and full scholarships from the MP’s office.”
The beneficiaries are:

Yvonne Kekeli Doe– 7As
-Japhet Akpaglo – 7As
Joseph Sokpo– 6As
Omoro Sulley– 5As
Ewoenam Afua Eleblu– 5As
The MP congratulated the students for making the constituency proud, noting that celebrating young achievers is key to motivating them to greater heights.
“We must always celebrate our young achievers and motivate them to greater heights. Togbe Worgbedzi is enormously proud of you,” he added.
Mr. Ablakwa also commended the District Chief Executive for North Tongu, Hon. Victoria Yawa Doe, for her effective coordination of the initiative.
This gesture forms part of the MP’s long-standing intervention to promote quality education and reward academic excellence in North Tongu.
