The Akatsi South District Assembly is set to deliver 20 mechanised boreholes across the District in a major push to solve water challenges facing communities.
The District Chief Executive for Akatsi South Daniel Dagba announced that the project follows the successful delivery of 20 polytanks last Friday by the contractor working on the project.

According to the DCE, in the coming weeks, several communities and CHPS compounds will begin enjoying uninterrupted water supply.
“Indeed ‘water is life’,” the DCE stated, reaffirming the Assembly’s commitment to improving access to safe and potable water for residents.
The intervention is expected to ease the burden of water scarcity, especially in deprived communities and health facilities within the municipality.
