The Member of Parliament for Kpando, Sebastian Deh, on Friday, 2nd October 2026, visited Kpando Kudzra to commiserate with residents affected by the recent river spillage and flooding in the community.

Upon receiving the news, Sebastian Deh made time out of his busy schedule to assess firsthand the plight of the affected residents and to offer his support.
About eighteen (18) persons were affected, including Kpornuglo Sofada , his wife, and their two-week-old baby, who were forced to seek refuge in an open shed after their homes were submerged by the floodwaters.

Moved by their situation, MP donated food and relief items to the victims, including bags of rice, sugar, detergents, soaps, cooking oil, clothing, blankets, and mosquito nets , among others. He also presented a cash donation to Mr. Sofada on behalf of all eighteen victims to support their upkeep.

The MP also toured the affected site to inspect homes destroyed and submerged by the water.
Addressing the victims, Sebastian Deh encouraged them to remain strong in these difficult times and assured them of his continued support.
He was accompanied by members of his working staff, the hardworking Deputy NADMO Coordinator for Kpando, Innocent Dzorkplenu, and some members of the community.

Mr. Kpornuglo, his wife, and members of the Kudzra community expressed their profound gratitude to the MP for his exemplary leadership, empathy, and kind donation.
