Information available to Fmnewsonline has revealed that the Deputy Government Statistician at the Ghana Statistical Service, Faustina Frempong-Ainguah is not comfortable at all following the appointment of a Government Statistician as her new boss.
An official memo issued by her to all staff of GSS under the subject, “Appointment of Acting Government Statistician” dated 9th April 2025, intercepted by this news portal suggests that Madam Faustina seems to be unhappy, person questioning why the Appointing Authority never gave GSS a copy of the letter appointing, Dr. Alhassan Iddrisu as new a Statistician.
In her memo, she claimed she only got to know about the new appointment from the “social media platforms”, stressing that “as now no formal letter has been issued to any of the parties”.
