This year like all others, Mr. Atokple through the Tanko Foundation hosted an Easter Get-Together with friends, colleagues, family and staff to represent the very tenets of the Easter season.

He said, their presence highlighted the importance of unity and collaboration for the continued development of our Region and he was honoured “to have these dignitaries joined to celebrate our collective efforts and the progress we are making. This gathering, however, went beyond formalities; it became a time for us to demonstrate our shared compassion and generosity”.

In his Facebook page Chief TANKO acknowledges, “one of the most touching moments of the event was when my big brothers H.E Michael Aidoo and Agbeko Kumordzie made donations to my two adopted girls through no fault of their own are paralysed for the past 25 years due to medical negligence. They donated GHC20,000 and $1,000 respectively. These selfless contributions truly showcased the power of social commitment to support those in need”.

A highlight of the event was when the Keta Nursing and Midwifery Training College-TEIN presented to him with citations, recognizing his consistent support for their efforts as students to propagate the Reset Agenda of the President.

“It is both humbling and encouraging to know that my efforts to support others are making a meaningful difference, Council Member added..

The evening culminated in an incredible musical show from some of Ghana’s favourite musicians that climaxed the day.

The performances by Stonebwoy, Kwabena Kwabena, Sista Afia, Blakk Rasta, Camidoh, Agbeshie, Keeny Ice, and other talented artists from the Volta Region were nothing short of the experience.

“Through acts of charity, recognition of hard work, and the promotion of local talent, we demonstrated that leadership is about fostering togetherness and creating positive change. I am truly grateful to everyone who joined us and helped make this celebration one to remember”, he concluded..
