The member of Parliament for Madina in the Greater Accra Region, Francis-Xavier Sosu, will be honoring hardworking branch executives from all three hundred twenty-one (321) polling stations across the 15 electoral areas in Madina Constituency.
According to the MP who doubles as Ranking Member for the Subsidiary Legislation Committee of Parliament, “The 3,889 Executives, our Ward Coordinators, Secretaries and Organizers, Zonal Leaders, Assembly Members, and Unit Committee Members are the reasons for the overwhelming Parliamentary and presidential victory of the NDC in Madina Constituency.”
He added, “In honor of them, we have citations, certificates, motorcycles, tricycles, laptops, scholarships, job placements, foreign trips, and cash prices to motivate and encourage and thank them for their faith and belief in me and my Leadership.
Distinguished individuals, groups and financiers, and contributors would also be acknowledged and appreciated.”
Mr. Sosu will also launch a One Million Ghana Cedis (Ghc1,000,000.00) Welfare Scheme to cover medical and emergency support for all branch Executives.
Lawyer Francis-Xavier Sosu retained the Madina Seat in the just-ended 2024 Elections by extending his vote margin from 15,142 in the 2020 Elections to 26,230, representing an increase of 73 percent.
As a Member of Parliament, Hon. Sosu has been very active and vocal on the floor of Parliament, offering quality parliamentary representation and leading several legislative proposals and interventions as a way to ensure the realization of a free, fair, and just society.
