The series of meetings, held at the Peduase Valley Resort, brought together key stakeholders, including the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG), Bui Power Authority, Volta River Authority (VRA), Northern Electricity Distribution Company (NEDCo), Ghana Grid Company (GRIDCo), and the Energy Commission.

The sessions focused on reviewing performance, addressing challenges, and strategizing to enhance efficiency and service delivery across the energy sector. Discussions were centred on improving coordination among the agencies and ensuring the reliability of power supply to support national development goals.

At the closing ceremony, some Majority Members of the Committee expressed concern about persistent power outages affecting their constituencies. They emphasized the severe impact on businesses, healthcare facilities, and households. Committee Chairman Emmanuel Kwasi Bedzrah, who also represents Ho West, urged for an immediate, coordinated action by all sector players to stabilize electricity supply and alleviate the burden on citizens.
