Speaking during a meeting with the Parliamentary Committee on Energy and officials from ECG, the Minister disclosed that although some of the missing containers have been located at the port, investigations are still ongoing to uncover the full extent of the issue.

Hon. Jinapor emphasized his commitment to accountability and transparency, stating that a detailed report will be submitted to the Attorney General to initiate the appropriate legal processes against those involved.

“We are taking this matter very seriously. The recovery of some containers is a step forward, but our goal is to ensure that all those responsible are brought to justice,” the Minister affirmed.
