Ben Ayiku, MP for Ledzokuku Constituency, exemplifies his commitment to education by organizing and fully financing mock exams for BECE candidates in the Constituency. This initiative, now in its fifth year, provides free mock exams to students in government schools, underscoring Hon. Ben Ayiku’s belief that education is a basic right, not a privilege.

On Monday, 19th May 2025, Hon. Ben Ayiku, with the New MCE, Hon. Israel Adjetey Otchwenmah, visited selected exam centers where the mock exams took place. Accompanied by Constituency Executives, Branch Executives, Director and Staff of the Municipal Education Directorate, Municipal PTA leadership, Assembly and Unit Committee members, as well as opinion leaders, the MP and MCE encouraged the candidates. They motivated them and also promised to support those who would excel in the final exams with a special package.

During the visit, Hon. Ben Ayiku took the opportunity to introduce the newly confirmed MCE for Ledzokuku, Hon. Israel Adjetey Otchwenmah.

At the Martey Tsuru Presby School Mock Exams centre, the parents and teachers expressed their profound gratitude to the MP for his proactive and swift response to their distress call after the wind blew off the roof of their classroom block. The ongoing roofing at Martey Tsuru Basic School, sponsored by the MP, would allow the pupils to get access to learn in a safe and conducive environment. The MP assured them of his dedication and commitment to education in Ledzokuku.

Furthermore, the MP has lobbied for the construction of a total stretch of 40.3 kilometers of inner roads in the various electoral areas, which would commence soon. This would go a long way to address the deplorable inner roads in the Constituency.
