Chairman of Governing Council of NADMO, Samuel Atta Mills, pays a working visit to NADMO Headquarters

The Chairman of the Governing Council of the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO), Hon. Samuel Atta Mills, paid a working visit to the NADMO headquarters to familiarize himself with the organization’s activities.

During his visit, Hon. Atta Mills encouraged staff to work hard and remain committed to advancing NADMO’s efforts to prevent and manage disasters.

“We all need to work together and improve things to make NADMO a better place to work,” he said.

He observed that NADMO is often called upon during disasters but emphasized the need for better organization preparation. He explained that for NADMO to respond effectively, its staff must be equipped with the proper tools and suitable conditions to support their work.

Hon. Atta Mills pledged his unwavering support and commitment to collaborating with management to enhance the organization’s work.

The Chairman of the Council toured the organization and interacted with staff members to gain insights into their daily operations and challenges.

The Director General of NADMO, Major (Rtd) Dr. Joseph Bikanyi Kuyon, thanked the Chairman of the Council for his visit and reaffirmed NADMO’s commitment to effectively collaborating with the Council to achieve the organization’s goals.

In attendance were the Deputy Director General (DDG) for Technical, Mr. Ahmed-Rufai Afarahim Aggudey, DDG for Relief and Protocol, Mr. Samuel Aboagye, DDG for Finance and Administration, Hajia Lutfia Saeed Jamal (PhD), several Departmental Directors, and Board Members.
