He emphasized that the nation’s history is built on the shoulders of those who gave their lives, freedoms, and dignity for the country’s ideals highlighting the importance of unity and resilience, citing that these values have made the impossible possible. According to him, Republic Day is not just a celebration but a reminder of the values that define Ghana, including justice, freedom, and equality.

The Group Chairman urged Ghanaians to take action in shaping the nation’s future, as he encouraged citizens to stand against injustice, help those in need, and practice kindness believing that small actions can pave the way for a brighter tomorrow.

As Ghanaians hoist their flag high, he reminded them to reflect on the resilience and hope that define the nation, expressing gratitude for the sacrifices of those who came before and called for courage in the face of future challenges.

Dr Daniel McKorley concluded his message with a heartfelt wish: “Happy Republic Day, Ghana! May we continue to stand united in our diversity and strive for the Ghana we dream of!” The message ended with the popular Akan phrase, “Yɛn Ara Y’asaase Ni,” which roughly translates to “We are the owners of this land.” The message was accompanied by the Ghanaian flag emoji 🇬🇭, symbolizing national pride and unity.
