At the recent launch of the 4th Made in Ghana Bazaar, the CEO of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC), Simon Madjie, highlighted the importance of promoting local products and services.

This event, led by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, helps local producers access global markets through Ghana’s diplomatic network. It also supports key government programs like the 24-hour economy and the Accelerated Export Development Strategy.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Madjie confirmed GIPC’s strong support for projects that showcase Ghanaian innovation. He called the bazaar a smart platform that helps GIPC attract investments, create jobs, and build strong local businesses.

He also announced that GIPC is preparing for the 2026 Ghana International Investment Summit, a major event designed to attract global investors to Ghana.

The CEO praised new policies from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which require Ghana’s embassies abroad to buy local products and serve Ghanaian food at official events. He said these actions build confidence for investors and national pride.

Mr. Madjie ended by promising GIPC’s continued support to promote “Made-in-Ghana” goods and position the country as a top investment destination in Africa.
