The Minister for Foreign Affairs, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa (MP), led a delegation comprising the Management and advisory board of the Ministry to the residence of the Minister for Defence, late Dr. Edward Omane Boamah, to commiserate with the bereaved family. Among the delegation were the Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs, James Gyakye Quayson (MP) and a former Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Chris Kpodo, who is also a member of the Ministerial Advisory Board.
Until his demise, the late Dr. Edward Omane Boamah served as a member of the Ministerial Advisory Board. He contributed immensely to the work on the Board.
Earlier on, the Minister and his delegation laid flowers at the Ceremonial Garden in front of the Jubilee House in honour of our compatriots who lost their lives in the line of duty on Tuesday, 6th August, 2025 in a tragic helicopter crash which occurred in the Ashanti Region.
Dr. Edward Omane Boamah, Alhaji Dr. Ibrahim Murtala Mohammed (MP), Alhaji Muniru Mohammed, Dr. Samuel Sarpong, Mr. Samuel Aboagye, Squadron Leader Peter Baafemi Anala, Flying Officer Manaen Twum Ampadu and Sergeant Ernest Addo Mensah will always be remembered in the annals of our beloved country.
