Deputy Finance Minister inaugurates new Quality Control Company Limited Board

The Deputy Minister for Finance, Hon. Thomas Nyarko-Ampem, has inaugurated a new Governing Board for the Quality Control Company Limited, with a charge to maintain and enhance the premium quality of Ghana’s cocoa, which has earned global admiration.

In his address, the Deputy Minister congratulated the board members on their appointment, describing it as an opportunity to serve mother Ghana. He emphasised that the quality of Ghana’s cocoa has long been the envy of many countries and urged the board to ensure that this reputation is preserved and further improved.

Chairperson of the Board, Dr. Ransford Anertey Abbey, in his remarks, pledged to safeguard the premium status of Ghana’s cocoa. He assured stakeholders that Ghana will continue to comply with all international best practices and maintain the highest quality standards in the industry.
