North Tongu MP to embarked on 6 Major Projects as he commissioned 3,000 capacity newly built Maternal and Child Health Clinic for his people to improve health delivery.
“I commissioned a new Maternal and Child Health Clinic in the beautiful town of Juapong in my beloved North Tongu.
I am grateful to Engage Africa Now Foundation for the great partnership which saw this facility being built and equipped in 6 months”, these are words from MP for area and Minister of state responsible for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa.
In a mission to transform his constituency under the reset ageda, the has also donated all the medical equipment required to make the health facility operational from 1st September, 2025.
The facility has capacity for 3,000 safe deliveries in a year and according to him, ” it would tremendously improve maternal health outcomes”.
He used the occasion to announce other approved projects in North Tongu which include: Construction of the Aveyime-Asutsuare Road; Construction of the Juapong-Podoe-Abutia Road; Construction of the Sege-Battor-Mepe Road; Construction of the Volivo to Dorfor Adidome Bridge over the Volta River; Construction of dormitories, dining halls, and labs in all 5 Senior High Schools; and, Construction of a teachers bungalow.
Mr. Ablakwa again made arrangements for all BECE candidates to check their results for free as the MPโs office takes up the cost.
“The good people of North Tongu can be assured that despite my demanding national and international commitments, there would be more projects and initiatives now more than anytime in the past”, he assurd.
“My beloved North Tongu shall receive its fair share of development under President Mahamaโs Reset Agenda”.
