The newly-elected National Executives of the National Service Personnel Association (NASPA) have paid a courtesy call on the Director-General of the National Service Authority (NSA), Ms. Ruth Dela Seddoh, at the Authority’s Headquarters in Accra.
The delegation, led by the National President, Abdul-Wahab Bala Mohammed, included Martin Suguruma Jatong Konlan (General Secretary), Wisdom Asafo (Financial Secretary), Khalid Abdul-Hamid (Organising Secretary), and Amina Ali Gausu (Women’s Commissioner).
The visit formed part of the Association’s introductory engagements following their election into office. The executives expressed their appreciation to the NSA for its continuous support of NASPA and reaffirmed their commitment to collaborating closely with management to advance the welfare of service personnel across the country.
Ms. Ruth Dela Seddoh congratulated the new executives on their election and commended NASPA for its vital role in complementing the Authority’s efforts toward service personnel development. She urged the team to exhibit integrity, teamwork, and innovation in their leadership to ensure that the voice of service personnel is effectively represented.
The Director-General reiterated the Authority’s readiness to work hand-in-hand with NASPA in implementing impactful initiatives that align with the broader mandate of the National Service Authority, empowering the youth through service and skill development.
The meeting also discussed key areas of collaboration, including personnel welfare, digital transformation initiatives, and career support programs for national service personnel.
