The Minister of Finance Dr. Ato Forson on the authority of the President of the Republic is set to present to Parliament, the Budget Statement and Economic Policy of the Government of Ghana for the year ending 31st December 2026 in accordance with Article 179 of the Constitution on Thursday, 13 November, 2025,
Presenting the business statement for the week ending Friday 14th November 2025 on the floor of Parliament on Friday, 7th November, 2025, The Majority Leader and Leader of Government Business, Mahama Ayarigah urged Members to take note and be present in the House early on the said date.
Meanwhile, the Business Committee encouraged the Ministry of Finance, other Ministries, and Independent Constitutional Bodies to submit their estimates to the House on time for consideration and approval.
In view of the presentation of the Budget Statement and Economic Policy of the Government, the Majority Leader announced a post-budget workshop scheduled for the participation of all Members of Parliament.
The venue and time will be communicated in due course, he added.
“Mr Speaker, the Business Committee urges all Committees to prioritize consideration of the referrals and promptly report to the House in accordance with Order 267 (4)”.
