Get ready for a thrilling community football showdown dubbed “The Shidaa Tournament”.
The Tournament is kicking off on Monday, 17th November 2025, at La McDan Town Park, featuring eight neighborhood teams battling it out for glory.
The teams competing are SALEM, KAKLAMADU, GORMLI, ADJEMAN, COURT, BULEMI, AVIATION, and TOWN PARK.
The MP for the Area, Rita Naa Odoley Sowah, is calling on the community to come out and support their local teams.
The tournament aims to promote community engagement, sportsmanship, and healthy competition among residents.
According to her, “it’s a great opportunity for football enthusiasts to showcase their skills and for fans to cheer on their favorite teams”.
“Kick-off is at La McDan Town Park, and all constituents, supporters, and football lovers are warmly invited to attend. Let’s come together to enjoy some exciting football and community spirit”, she noted on her Facebook page.
