The people of Hohoe are set to rejoice as construction of a 24-hour cocoa processing factory is set to commence in 2026.
This follows a visit by investors who conducted a final inspection of the land, marking a major milestone in the project.
The Member of Parliament for Hohoe, Thomas Worlanyo Tsekpo who made the announcement, expressed gratitude to key stakeholders, including Togbe Afede, Regional Minister James Gunu, Wisdom Dogbe, MD of Cocoa Marketing Company, and the Chiefs and people of Hohoe for their roles in bringing the project to fruition.
Accordingl to the MP, the factory is expected to create jobs and boost the local economy.
Mr. Tsekpo promised to continue working tirelessly for the development of Hohoe, hinting at more good news in the coming days.
