The Shai–Osudoku District Assembly is honoured to inform the general public that the district is selected to host the 41st Regional Farmers’ Day Celebration.
This remarkable milestone was achieved through the leadership and relentless advocacy of the Greater Accra Regional Minister and Member of Parliament for Shai–Osudoku Constituency Hon. Linda Akweley Ocloo.
This year’s celebration is being held under the theme *“Feed Ghana, Eat Ghana, Secure the Future.”*
The theme aligns strongly with the agricultural transformation vision of *H.E. John Dramani Mahama*, which prioritizes modernization of the agricultural sector, investment in mechanization, irrigation development, agro-processing, and job creation for the youth through agribusiness.
Hosting the Regional Farmers’ Day in Shai–Osudoku provides a unique platform for our district to exhibit its agricultural strength, celebrate our hardworking farmers and fisherfolks, and reinforce our alignment with the national vision for sustainable agricultural development.
The District Assembly invites all farmers, traditional leaders, youth groups, cooperatives, and residents to join the Regional Minister, the District Chief Executive (DCE), and other dignitaries in celebrating excellence, dedication, and innovation in agriculture.
