President John Dramani Mahama has commissioned the National Signals Bureau’s Volta Regional Command in Ho, emphasizing that security is the foundation of development and intelligence is the backbone of security.
The President noted that the government will continue to strengthen intelligence and security in the country to drive national development, citing the importance of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity in modern security frameworks.

According to him the expansion of the National Signals Bureau across the country is crucial for national surveillance and protecting digital and cyber space.
Interior Minister Hon. Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak commended the government’s commitment to enhancing national security, announcing that four new regional commands will be operational by the end of the year.
The President also attended the 2025 National Farmers Day celebration in Ho, accompanied by the Minister for the Interior and some Ministers.
