Leader and Founder of Seventh Day Theocratic World Congress, Apostle Dr. Kadmiel E.H Agbalenyoh, has charged his congregants in particular and Christians in general to watch their tongues, since they could not only serve as sources of blessing and curses, but could also be murderous.
He maintained that tongues could spit fire, i.e. hot and also cold at the same time, hence the need for people to be cautious in speeches with their tongues, especially parents against dishing out insulting and cursing words against their children.
Instead they should speak good things and blessing to their children.
Apostle Agbalenyoh made this charge during a sermon in the auditorium of the church at Otiakrom (Shalom Shalom) last Saturday.
False Witnessing is Simply A Murder Without mincing words, the Apostle pointed out that bearing false witness against a neighbor is not only tantamount to but obviously causing murder to one’s neighbor citing corresponding Biblical Verses like Leviticus 19:15-19, Deuteronomy 19:15-19 and many more that Apostle Sang into the minds and hearts of his congregants that “Bearing false witness against a neighbor was simply murderous. He indicated that, it was against this background that God, in his 9th commandment to humankind declared “Thou shall not bear false witness against thy neighbor”
The Apostle went on to indicate further that the act of bearing false witness is borne out of envy, jealousy and covetousness. That is why God in his 10th Commandment admonish mankind; Thou should not covert thy neighbor’s wife, house Ox, ass or anything that is thy neighbor’s!!, he charged.
ChorusIn order to sink his message into the hearts and minds of his congregants, Apostle Abgalenyoh made the conscious effort to give a chorus; “If I bear false witness against my neighbor, I am a murderer!”
