A day after the chaotic and rancourous situation in Parliament calm has finally returned to the August House when Members of Parliament, sat to do Public Business on Wednesday, 10th December, 2025.
Even though, there arose few misunderstandings as usual in the course of the debate it wasn’t rancorous and chaotic as the previous days’ which resulted in scuffle and near blows.
Subsequently, the First Deputy Speaker, Bernard Ahiafor who was at the helm of affairs had a smooth ride.
Meanwhile, Parliament continued with the approvals of Budget Estimates for various Ministries and Government Agencies.
Also, the Deputy Minister of Land and Natural Resources on behalf of his Boss Emmanuel Armah Kofi Buah withdrew the revised Lithium Agreement/Deal.
This, however, did not go down well with the Minority who claimed that they had already warned the Majority against that decision.
According to them, the Majority turns a deaf ear to their admonitions and went ahead with it because, they thought , they had numbers and they way.
“We told you so”, Patrick Yaw Boamah, MP for Okaikoi Central exclaimed.
