The Supreme Court has suspended the planned rerun of the Kpandai parliamentary election, pending the determination of an application filed by the New Patriotic Party MP for the area, Matthew Nyindam.
The order from the court directs NPP to serve NDC through substituted service and the Court has adjourned to January 13, 2026, for further hearing
Mr. Nyindam has filed challenges High Court’s jurisdiction, seeking a review to quash the judgment
The MP argued that the High Court has wrongly assumed jurisdiction in the election petition filed by the National Democratic Congress candidate, Daniel Nsala Wakpal.
