Alfred Nii Kotey Ashie, Member of Parliament for Odododiodioo in the Greater Accra Region has presented 2.5 HP Air Conditioner to the assembly of chiefs of Old Fadama Special Ward.
The donation was a fulfillment of a promise made to the chiefs when he paid a curtesy call on them at their council meeting place.
Realizing the challenge of ventilation and the heat condition of their meeting place, the MP disclosed that the leadership of the people must not be subject to bad conditions such as heat when they meet to plan for the people.
Nii Kotey therefore, promised to provide them with an air conditioner set and he has done it today accordingly.
Being sensitive to the festive season the MP has also donated some bags of rice, cooking oil and an undisclosed cash amount to support them celebrate the season.
