The Member of Parliament for Ketu North, Edem Agbana, is set to kick-start a new week with a sod-cutting ceremony at Afife Senior High Technical School on Monday, 26th January, 2026.
The event marks a significant milestone in the MP’s efforts to address the infrastructure deficit plating the school.
Afife SHS is one of four senior high schools in Ketu North facing infrastructure challenges, with the MP lamenting the dire state of the school.

In a recent Facebook post, Agbana revealed that he had previously used personal funds to convert an old classroom block into a girls’ dormitory.
The MP praised the approvals granted for the projects, which had undergone a lengthy procurement process.
He expressed gratitude to President Mahama, Hon. Haruna Iddrisu, Hon. Bedzrah, and GETFUND for their support. GETFUND has also taken responsibility for abandoned classroom projects on the campus.
Agbana emphasized that the development is a step in the right direction, acknowledging that more work needs to be done to improve the school’s infrastructure. 🌟
