The Ministry of Youth Development and Empowerment has confirmed that, Lawyer George Opare Addo, the Sector Minister will address Day Two of the Africa Prosperity Dialogues (APD) 2026 in Accra.
His APD 2026 keynote will explore how Africa’s single market can unlock growth, expand trade, and foster collaboration among policymakers, entrepreneurs, and innovators.

At age 27, he became Ghana’s youngest Municipal Chief Executive leading Akuapem North from 2009–2017.
Today, he drives transformative initiatives such as the Adwumawura and National Apprenticeship Programmes, advancing youth employment, entrepreneurship, digital skills, and agribusiness nationwide.
A lawyer, visionary leader and two-term National Youth Organiser of the NDC, he also pioneered Ghana’s first Youth Manifesto.
The dialogue is themed “Empowering SMEs, Women and Youth in Africa’s Single Market: Innovate. Collaborate. Trade.” alongside Africa’s leading policymakers, business leaders, and changemakers.
