Torgbui Tenuvi II, also known as Akonta Felix Akakpo, a renowned philanthropist and Youth Chief of Aflao in the Ketu South Municipality has donated sporting materials worth thousands of Ghana Cedis to five Senior High Schools in the Municipality.
The beneficiary schools are St Paul’s Senior High School, Aflao Senior High Technical School, Three Town Senior High School, Somé Senior High School, and Klikor Senior High School.
The donation includes 30 trophies, 45 footballs, 5 sets of jerseys, 10 volleyballs, 10 handballs, 10 basketballs, 5 stopwatches, medals, and Ghc 10,000.00 to support the ongoing SHS Inter Houses competition.
In his address, Torgbui Tenuvi II urged Sports Directors to prepare their students for the upcoming inter-school games at Akatsi Senior Technical School. This gesture is expected to boost the morale of students and promote sports development in the region.
