The Majority Leader Mahama Ayariga has indicated that he has gathered from sources that there is a looming Coup D’état eta within the Minority front.
According to him, as a result of this the Minority Chief, and MP for Nsawam-Adoagiri, Frank Annoh Dompreh is of late advertising himself as the incoming Minority Leader by his exploits.
This followed the issue of quorum raised by MP for Kpandai Mathew Nyidam on the floor.
Hon Ayariga maintained that the Minority raised the issue of quorum just to sweep under the carpet this looming internal Coup D’état.
Meanwhile, this speculation of looming Coup has been the doing around in many circles of late.
According to our intelligence gathered this situation has come about immediately after the NPP presidential primaries resulting in Dr Bawumia’s victory.
Our intelligence further has it that, the current Minority Leader Osahene Alexander Kwamena Afenyo-Markin has been in the good books of the NPP flag bearer elect hence his deplorable plight.
Meanwhile the outspoken Minority Leader was conspicuously absent from the chamber on 5th February, 2026 thus, not even taking part in the 24HR Economy Bill that took a heated turn on the day.
