A sod-cutting ceremony was held for a new two-storey Health Directorate Office Complex in Tokor, Ketu South Municipality.
The project is being undertaken by the Akonta Foundation, led by philanthropist, Akonta Felix Akakpo, in collaboration with the Ghana Health Service and Ketu South Municipal Assembly.
Volta Regional Minister, James Gunu, highlighted the need for improved healthcare infrastructure in the region, citing a lack of investment over the past eight years. The facility is expected to enhance healthcare delivery and support the region’s development.
In related development, Akonta Felix Akakpo has donated 400 bags of cement to support educational projects in the municipality, demonstrating his commitment to social development.
