The Majority Caucus in Ghana’s Parliament began a three-day retreat in Accra on Saturday, February 7, 2026.
The retreat was opened by Speaker of Parliament Alban S. K. Bagbin. Also in attendance were Roads and Highways Minister Governs Kwame Agboza, Minister of Health Kwabena Minta Akando, Education Minister Haruna Iddrisu and the National Secretary, Difficult Kwetey.

The Ministers for Health and Roads and Highways took the opportunity to brief Members of Parliament on developments and ongoing work within their respective sectors.
The Presidential Advisor on the 24-Hour Economy policy, Goosie Tannoh, also attended. He engaged the members in discussions aimed at enhancing legislative coordination and advancing the policy’s policies with special interest in the recently passed 24- Economy Authority Bill.
