The Planning Committee for the 2026 State of the Nation Address (SONA 2026) has completed its preliminary assessments of stakeholder readiness for the upcoming national event.
According to Committee Chairman and MP for South Day, Lawyer Rockson-Nelson Etse Kwami Dafeamekpor, all preparations are on track to ensure a successful delivery of the address.
In an exclusive interview with FMNewOnline, Mr. Dafeamekpor stated that the necessary arrangements have been finalized, and the stakeholders are fully prepared for the event.
He emphasized that the event, scheduled to be delivered by President John Mahama on Friday, promises to be a significant moment for the nation, reflecting on the progress and future plans of the government.
The committee’s efforts have focused on ensuring logistical arrangements, security measures, and coordination among various government agencies and stakeholders. Dafeamekpor expressed confidence that the event will proceed smoothly and be impactful, engaging citizens and setting the tone for the country’s development agenda.
