The 2006 batch of Abor Senior High School (ABORSCO) stormed the anniversary celebrations in their numbers, adding to the vibrant atmosphere of the event.
As part of the festivities, the school’s alumni, including the 2006 batch, paid a courtesy visit to the Parliament of Ghana, where they were received by the First Deputy Speaker, Bernard Ahiafor, an alumnus of ABORSCO.¹
The anniversary celebration, themed “60 Years of Impactful Journey: Providing Transformative Secondary Education Through Indigenous Values and 21st Century Skills,” featured cultural performances, student recitals, and goodwill messages from alumni and community leaders. Hon. James Gunu, Volta Regional Minister, reiterated the government’s commitment to enhancing education in Ghana and commended ABORSCO for its contributions to academic excellence and national development.
The 2006 batch, known for their energetic performances, took to the stage to entertain the crowd with traditional dances and music, bringing the house down with their infectious energy. The event was a grand success, with attendees praising the school’s efforts in promoting indigenous values and modern skills.
